Very interesting site about homeowners associations. They send email
updates, there was an article about Texas homeowners recently that I can
forward to anyone interested.

The two major constraints of the local HOA in my area is that I can't
perform a business that obviates from the home appearance, and I can't own
pigs/hogs. Chickens and their number are negotiable. In light of roadkill
on the 3 roads that I must negotiate to my house, I was considering same
instead of flamingos. I live in a rural area. Can I place these near the
street on my property with a sign that says "speed kills"? No, am not
laughing while writing this. Just tired of the unneeded death and injury
due to those in a hurry. I've lived here for a year and half, and never hit
an animal.

The vultures and ants would consume all but the bones within a week. The
bones would remains of course.

I passed an injured whitetailed deer, just off the shoulder of the last road
on the way home late this evening. Didn't flintch as I passed. Deer was
laying down watching the passing vehicle without movement. They don't lay
down near such areas naturally. Neck and head was up, legs underneath body.
Healthy looking otherwise.

I hope you called the shelter or wildlife rescue?????
