Default [IBC] OT Linux (PLS RESPOND OFFLIST)

FWIW

Windows XP does away completely with the Windows Registry scheme, which in
my mind is one of the touchiest aspects of the Windows OS.

Many people don't realize that, given enough time, eventually you have to do
a clean sweep and a total reinstall of Windows. Maintenance tasks like
updating the Registry and defragmenting the hard drive can delay the
process, but eventually it must be done. Hard drives can also just plain
wear out, mostly because of the heat/cool sequence over a period of years...

Do any of you use Linux as your main OS? Which flavor? How is
the browser/e-mail? Problems?

I've about had it with MSWin.

nuts all work for MS)
