I just picked up two rolls of bamboo fencing from home depot to strap to the ugly
hurricane fence at our rental. it wont take over. Ingrid

i would certainly chop it back some and consider putting down a barrier like was mentioned even go 24 inches if u can get down deep enough.
this way if anything does happen they cannot say that u didnt try to control your plant .
