Slugs, how do I get rid.

I find an empty tin can half filled with beer buried level to the ground near your
plants works quite well. Very messy to clean out though.

Site them away from the plants and put allbran or porridge near those.
It will attract the slugs away from the plants and the bran will serve
to distract those that get through.Put stick in the cans to allow other
fauna egress.

Why trouble to clean the cans?

I have heard that some slugs are not villains but don't know of any
species distinction -or method for selecting those for slaughter.

The recent wet spell has brought out a variety of pests. Gnats are a
problem with my borders (I wonder if you would like some foxes to try
on your slugs, Len?)
