Default Tips on planting out - wisteria and Japanese maple

" Jeanne Stockdale" wrote in message

A very dear friend died a couple of months ago. On his birthday (a few

weeks
before his death) he was given a wisteria and a Japanese maple but didn't
get the chance to plant these out. His widow would like these in the

garden
in memory of him and has asked me to give her a hand. They have probably

got
somewhat pot bound now (they were bought in May). Any tips would be

welcomed

Jeanne

Give the wisteria a good soak in a bucket and make sure the hole has been
well wetted (still very dry here) but it will shortly lose its leaves and
now is an excellent time to plant. The Acer hopefully someone who can grow
them will give answers on!
