Default WildLife Sanctuary ideas please.

Thus spake
Hello all.

I have recently acquired a small plot of a few hectares of coastal
(cliff top) land, and should like to maximize it's benefit to
wildlife, in a relatively unmanaged environment.

Countryside surrounding, with non intensive farming locally.

Any hints, tips or ideas via email please.

Don't let it go untended, as it will be taken over by invasive species.

Probably, as Oz says, gorse, and this will not be favourable to
wildlife.

So long as there is enough topsoil and trees can survive the wind, Seek

out a grant and set it to woodland. Oak supports more species and more
wildlife than any other tree. It will need management for the first
five
years, after that less and eventually none at all.

Regards
