As someone who worked en Paris for a good long time, I'd like a shot at
translating this myself, using the collouqial and idiomatic forms which it
embraces.

"And you, you garden? I see you are in the library. My French is sadly not
naughty. I think, I write and I speak like an alien. I sound like a Manc and
the French don't like me much but Australian English is easier for me than
French. My hovercraft is full of eels".
