So the pond surface settles to the same level. In an earth bottom pond I
would consider that a normal happening. If it's a liner pond I would
seriously consider a leak somewhere. It's hard to actually picture your
set-up, but when water settles at some point in a lined pond you can be sure
there's a leak at that level.
