Malaysian Orchid species, the Spiranthes sinensis and its 'alba'

Very nice. This seems to be a very adaptable species. I've seen it
growing in red lava rock near the base of Mt Fuji and in the lawns of
city parks in Tokyo. For such an attractive species, it is
surprisingly rare in cultivation. I've only seen it for sale once in
the U.S.

I'm amused by the alba form, since the main appeal of S. sinensis is
that it isn't plain white like so many other Spiranthes.
