Default Bugs!!! Help!!!

Have to say that red Spider Mite is almost impossible to irradicate. It
is mainly a problem under glass - but is more unsightly than dangerous
- unless you have a very bad infestation. Putting your houseplants
outside in good weather in the summer seems to keep the numbers down -
change the growing medium when you bring them in for the winter - best
solution is the two h s - hygiene and humidity - but watch your
pelargoniums with the latter!

Hello
Anyone growing Impatiens niamniamensis (Parrot Plant)?? I have one
which I have grown for a over a year - now its winter and leaves
falling off (not a problem as I think it is a common occurrence).
However, I have now found that there is a 'bug' infection!!!! Have
used a insecticide spray on it a few times and bugs come back!!!
They
seem to make a web like material and are found at the tips of the
plant!!! Does anyone have any suggestions???

Ta!!

Sounds like spider mites. I hate them and they should all die in a fire

- slowly.
Make sure to mist under the leaves regularly, they like dry conditions.

Some folks prefer misting with a drop or 2 of a 'wetting agent' in the

water. d Citrus scented ish soap usually. Some folks report the use of
a
systemis inscticide such as bayer 2 in 1 (rose fertilizer/insecticide)

helps.
