i recently purchased a property with large farm pond, about 40 yds
diameter: no liner or filter. am interested in fixing it up and stocking
with bass. will need info on dock building, aquatic plants for cover,
nesting cover, feeding, etc.

at first glance, this NG seems mostly about "backyard" ponds, the kind with
a liner and a filter. would "farm" ponds be off topic?
