We do have mostly ornamental garden ponds
here but not all, so we'd love to have
you stick around ;-)
My SIL has both a natural pond and a garden pond.

An excellent resource for natural ponds is
EARTH PONDS SOURCEBOOK by Tim Matson.

Another resource is the newsgroup misc.rural
Right now it seems to be running about 50%
OT political topics so it is a rather volatile group.
We occasionally wander OT but usually keep to ponds.
Basically we believe all the world would be better off if everybody has a pond
- if for nothing but to dunk one's head into when they get all hot and
bothered.
