almost the norm amongst some racial types. Europeans are unusual in being
able to drink liquid milk and cope with the lactose so well


Its rare amongst people descended from pastoral societies, which is most
of western europe, the middle east and africa. Its quite common
elsewhere, particularly the far east (ie east of vietnam etc). I think
american indians are mostly not intolerant.
