Default Winter pumps and filters......

It must be global warming. It's the first winter since 1995 that I
have pumps and filters running in January. The cheap bucket filters
are working great. :-)

Interesting point........global warming. Here in London, the weather is
mild, if very wet. I have a weather station with a temp sensor beside the
pond. The lowest recorded temp was 1.5 degC. so far. ATM, 6pm, it is 12
degC. Water temp stable at 10degC I read a lot about pond heating a couple
of months ago..........maybe in a few years, we'l l be pumping refrigerated
water around the system!!
