I used to have a patch of perennial sunflowers that looked just like the
artichokes and they were nice looking enough to make me want a patch,

I think they only deliver in the UK
Thanks Gill; I will check that; they certainly deliver seeds here (and have
local agents) but tubers may indeed be another story.
