Not according to 'Mike' who seems to think that forcing you to take a bag
is the norm.

I couldn't possibly comment! One or two shops may have such a policy but
it's hardly the norm. I find it more usual to be asked if I DO want a
bag.

I get asked if I want help to pack, do you think it's the grey hair?
