Default Sick Cymbidium

Sounds like you need to repot Gerald? Not sure where you are? The bud could
have frostbite?
Did you give budding flower spikes away & they flowered?
Cheers Wendy

We have a large cymbidium. full 12" pot. about 10 bulbs over 2" in
dia. 4 or 5 dead 2" bulbs near center. 2-3' foliage. we've owned
and grown this plant for 3-4 years. we grow it in summer on our south
deck in wash dc. foliage looks super healthy.

bought in flo0wer from a big box, never flowered for us. had a very
thin spike or two, which would dry up. gave two away, they flowered
for the people we gave them to.

this year, we have 3 spikes(?) they are big(at least 3/8" x 3/4") and
about a foot long. they are starting to open. there are a number of
small yellow buds appearing, but they are turning brown on the tips,
and look to me to be dying.

any fix for this year? any fix for next year?
