It is exactly what it sounds like. It's about gardening.
Flowers, trees, landscaping, succulents/cacti, and (my favourite)
vegetables. Raising whatever plants you like.

There is also rec.gardens.edible which is also exactly what it
sounds like - fruits/veggies.
