All the talk of moss in lawns prompts me to ask if anyone can tell me of
a
product that will kill moss on hard surfaces as we have it growing on
walls, paths and the house roof. Something which can be sprayed on that
really does kill it would be good as I have tried some chemicals from
garden centres without much success.

Mike

I always find it strange that people want to get rid of moss in those
places
where it does not form a hazard. I encourage it to grow, usually without
success.
As Chris said a copper based fungicide is your best bet and copper
/lead/zinc flashings or gauze will prevent it recolonising.

It's a hazard on paths though, Rupert, because it is SO slipper in the
rain.

By default I did exclude paths in my post ;-) but I know what you mean it's
that very thin almost invisible coating which becomes lethal when wet.
