We've just taken delivery of a new plant that Ray has been raving about.
It's Gentiana Marsha and it's a shrubby gentian and the most gorgeous blue.
AFAIK, it's new to this country. Here's a picture of
it:

It's a pity you don't do mail order, I would like one of those for
France. Can I get one local to me do you think?

Judith

I'm sure you will be able to. Just do an online Google for their suppliers
and if that doesn't help, contact the breeders. I'd send you one, Judith
but Ray is cherishing them like his first born! I'm wondering if, when we
get more, we can make a sort of low hedge of them somewhere. I feel that
could be extremely pretty. And I'm just about to order the pure white
rosemary 'Montagnette' from Olivier Filippi. Would you like one?

I've Googled, Jeeved, Ebayed, Garden Centered, Nurseried, you name it,
I don't know what I am doing wrong but I can't find a stockist!!!
Please help, do you think Notcutts would stock it?

Judith

Its full name is Gentiana makinoi 'Marsha' and Ray saw it last year at a
trade show. He says he'll be very surprised if it isn't pretty widespread
this year so certainly, do ask Notcutts. We brought ours in from
Pannebakker in Holland and you could certainly ask them who is going to
stock it in UK.
