Default Dendrobobiu Stardust 'Chiomi'

I did not think about that, but it might be possible. Last year many
orchid growers here had problems with fungi and bacteria, probably due
to the hot summer and very wet after summer. So I have been spraying my
plants with Chloorthalonil (in English???) to fight the fungus and also
with very diluted aspirine to help the plants overcome the bacteria.
That worked, but it might be that it causes these strange flowers.
Althoug most of my orchids have regular flowers, I now remember that my
Oerstedella centradenia had a similar problem.

This one has been a reliable bloomer the last five years. But this year
there are many deformed flowers. The have no lip, or the staminoid is
curled. Never had that before. I just hope that it is not a virus,
although the plant and the leaves look healthy. Maybe repotting and a
little bit more fertilizer will help.
