Default is this the way with amaryllis?

I have 4 amaryllis flowering and I will give it a go, can you just give
some
hints on how to collect the sees? Should I let the pods to dry? Should I
open it and put the seed in the soil?

Thanks a million.

bit of an amateurish reply, I'm sure others in this group know better, but
as I recall the seeds were just there when the plant got bored with
flowering, little seeds in the middle of a flat black membrane as I recall,
lots of them. Just prod the seed head and there they are
Good luck
