Clouds of midge type beasties in my garden help how do i get rid of?
i have a pond they hover over but beasties were there before we built
the pond Thanks

It has been mild and we seeing an early hatch of aquatic insects, including
gnats.
these provide food for other life such as bats, and fish which eat the
larva.
As to killing them, not feasible as any spray would affect the
fish/newts/frogs/tadpoles etc etc.
Let nature take its course.
