Seeing this group seems to be reasonably quiet, it is probably about
time I did some posting rather than lurking. A few of us went walking in
Brisbane Forest Park (just west of Brisbane, Australia) yesterday and
found a few orchids in flower.

The Bulbophyllum exiguum are just about finished flowering, but there
are still some patches flowering well. The flowers are only about 10mm
across, but are spectacular in large mass flowerings.

Delightful bulbo lip. I have to admit to being fascinated with the
hinged lips. Are they growing on/in a mat of sphagnum moss?
The Sarcochilus is a very lovely bloom in miniature.
Thanks for the walk in the park.
