Default Easter Lily

Thanks for the heads up. I learn something new every day. :-)
For all of my life I have called these flowers Easter Lilies.
But when I Googled on Easter Lily "IMAGES", the VAST majority of
pictures were of the 6 petal star-shaped variety.
I have grown these in the past too, but it never occurred to me that
THEY were the true Easter Lily.

P.S.
Take a look at my post entitled Whazzit? See if you think the flowers
are from a deciduous Azalea tree.
I revisited the site and found a very few leaves still on the tree. I'll
post a picture of it tonite. It is huge and unlike Azalea leaves that
I've seen before.

Nice picture, Bob. But this is really a "calla lily" which really isn't a
lily at all.

This offering would have been more appropriate last week.
But better late than never. :-)
