Default Cup of Gold

This is the name that the locals (San Diego) give to this large, showy
blossom. It is a prolific bloomer with attractive, green leaves but it
is pretty invasive. This specimen was taken in the garden by my
dentist's office. So the trip to the dentist was not a total bummer. :-)

P.S.
Of the persons who responded to my query about monitor screen
resolutions, the results were as follows:
800 x 600 = 2 persons
1024 x 760 = 3 "
1280 x 1024 = 4 "
1600 x 1200 = 1 "
I have decided to send my posts at "AROUND" 1024 x 760 pixels and use
enough compression to give a file size of "AROUND" 150MB.
This gives a nicely sized image, good image quality and courteous file
size for folks with telephone modems.
Comments gratefully received.
Bob
