The strange thing? They've been outside, unprotected for 3 years now here in
Folkestone. The cold doesn't seem to do much except drop a few leaves, it's
the slugs and snails that do the most damage.
Wet roots in the cold will do more damage than anything.
Things are definitely changing....
Much milder winters, I agree but still pretty wet this side of the UK.
