I've just bought two gorgeous Hostas at DCS. One is called Fire Island
and
has lime green leaves with reddish stems and the other is A Touch of Class
with a beautiful bluish variegation to the leaves. I also bought three
lovely orchids called Dendrobium Anna Green which have a fabulous green
flower with a burgundy centre. Ray was absolutely amazed and delighted to
find a plant of 'his' that he'd lost. He discovered this Argyranthemum
sport in the garden here and named it 'Saimi' after a Finnish friend. He
gave some to the then head gardener at Bicton College and lo and behold
they
were displaying and selling it on their stand 15 or more years later!
And to crown it all, our exhibit won a Gold Medal - a good day all round!

Well done to all at Hill House.
That's a tropical Dendrobium if I remember correctly and a bit exacting on
requirements.
