Better yet, next year reseach and plant the "three sisters" that
native American sisters developed. Beans, squash and corn
interplanted. The beans create nitrogen and climb the corn without
harming it, the squash shades the roots and keeps roots down (cooling
the ground), and the corn, well, it's corn!
