Default Ants, ants and more ants....

The saying goes,
If there is black/brown ants there are no white ants.
I don't know if its true though. Still don't get rid of them all. We all are
part of a chain. I have lots of spiders on my fences, brickwork and eaves
but very few mozzies. Ants will clean up all the left for dead insects in
your garden keeping other pests away by eliminating the scavengeable food
source. But when they get inside I send em on their way.

Can someone please offer some suggestion for getting rid of ants...

they
are all over our yard. We have the big black ants that bite and give me

a
severe allergy reaction, and there is the little common black/brown ant,

but
they are everywhere. We have used the Hortico Ant Spray and also Ant

Fix,
but we don't seem to be having much effect. We've tried borax and
breadcrumbs also, but concerned that the birds will eat the breadcrumbs.

Check out these tips from the CSIRO web site.
