I was wondering if some of the Maryland rose folks could chime in...
what has your experience with English roses in MD?

Hi Andrea,

I have had no luck with any but Paul Bocuse, if that counts! I am on the
Eastern Shore of MD, and the rain and damp caused balling of anything with
"English" type blooms.

And botrytis seems to pick on them first, possibly due to the tight and
messy nature of the blooms.

I have one more, I forget which one of J&P's Englsih roses, that had better
start putting out this summer, or be yanked out in favor of one of the more
reliable varieties.
