Have not used, but did some investigation a few years ago. It is
recommended to prepare the bed by removing all the weeds or grass,
digging over, improving the soil, etc. By the time you do all that,
you might just as well buy a few $-worth of seeds of choice and
scatter them over your nicely prepared bed. That is, the advertised
product isn't a *magic* carpet. :-)
