Default Longstock Water Gardens

Any of you within reach of Hampshire, might, if you don't already know
it, like to visit Longstock Park Water Gardens, owned by the John
Lewis partnership and only open about 12 times a year, for different
charities. On Sunday it was open for the NGS so you will find it in
the Yellow Book, or here;

We went on Sunday, and were very impressed. The Water Gardens are
very well kept and beautiful at the moment, with the banks planted
with iris, hosta, astilbe,primula etc, and a stunning tropaeolum
speciosum over a rhododendron bush. The walk through the arboretum to
the well-stocked nursery is well worth it, though you can drive up.
They serve a good cuppa too!
It was new to me, and
