Default ROSE ACCIDENT: URGENT HELP NEEDED

I think I'd put some anti-fungal dust and wrap the area with green tape.
It might grow back together.

I suspect the top was top heavy and with water in the rain - overloaded
the stem.

Might be another issue on strength of stem...

Hi all,

I am very sad! One of my standard roses broke with the wind!! It did not
brake completely, half of the "trunk" was still attached. I put the rose
back up and lots of metal protections.

No w the question. I know it is very likely it will die, but is there
anything I can do? Is there any think I can put here it broke to protect it?

Thanks in advance!
