Now even spiders, squid and lobsters could have rights, and about time too!

Hows the garden going?
The wet weather we're having here has ruined my petunias.
I dug the soggy, miserable-looking things up today. I don't
think I'll bother with them next year. I think my cacti have
rotted at the roots as well since deciding to keep them
outside in an old china butlers sink. I had em for years!
Eastbourne is no place to raise cacti.
You told me to put them outside! And now they're dying or
dead. Nice one. Well played.
I said to put 'em outside in nice weather.
Nope - "outside." I waited for some nice weather before
transferring them, planted them in a perfect medium in a
large china butler sink in the sunniest spot in the garden,
and now they're staring to die off.
Actually, I think what I said is that they're outdoor plants. They're
not going to do well indoors unless they get direct sunlight and are
in a dry climate,
I'm going to find a suitable cover for the sink. Something like a
deep upturned plastic fish tank, or, failing that, if I can't find one
to fit I'll make something from a sheet of perspex to keep them
dry.
