Default Cumumbers not doing well

Hi,

I planted tomatoes and cucumbers this year and the tomatoes are doing
great but our cucumber plants are in very bad shape.

Something must be eating the leaves because they are picked clean to the
stem in most places. I really let it go too long but it happened kind
of fast. I'm thinking it must be an animal but I'm not sure. I haven't
seen anything eating the leaves but we have plenty of rabbits around
here. Would they eat cucumber leaves?

The chicken wire fence has a little opening they could get through so
I'm going to work on that today.

There's still a lot of flowers, but I don't know if I can save these
plants at this point.

I guess it could be bugs, but the tomatoes growing right next to the
cucumbers have no problems at all.

Would appreciate some advice here.

Thanks,
Steve

I can commiserate with you, the same thing has happened to my cucumbers.
I've written mine off, I don't think I'll try cucumbers again. Like you,
my tomatoes are doing great, my broccoli is doing fine, my peppers are
doing OK, my strawberries haven't produced a single berry even though the
plants look healthy and they have flowers on them.
