Flocks of Phlox, in fact.

My Phlox paniculata is now in full bloom, and really helping out the
dog-days garden. These were purchased as plants 3-4 years ago, but
they are looking better this year than ever before. As I recall, these
were "Bright Eyes".

Somebody, deer I think, like to nibble on these when they first come
up in the Spring, but that actually helps, because the early nibbling
makes them bushy and more floriferous.
