Default Planting, Fertilizing and Watering Your Roses

Roses need a lot of hydration and food to remain healthy.

Are not roses autotrophs meaning that they manufacture their own food. Do
they not burn glucose as a food source? I think so. I think we can add
essential elements required for good growth but I do not believe we can feed
a rose glucose. I may be wrong.
