We'v had about a month of 100F weather and just a few light sprinkles of
rain. The fish are taking the heat well. I added extra aeration on the
720g fry tank. The water is staying around 85 to 88F.

It's been dry here in northern Florida too. We started this month
getting almost 4 3/4 inches of rain. Now it's almost the end of the
month and it looks like that's all we'll get. According to my
thermometer, we have yet to get into triple digits, 99.7, but still
not quite a hundred.

I wish we'd gotten even half of that. The heat and drought here are
terrible. We've barely had 3" of rain since Spring. Trees and shrubs and
crops are dying. Our neighbor had to sell his cattle as this pasture is
gone. His stock pond dry for days now. Trees have dropped their leaves and
look dead. We're losing a lot of our landscaping plants. There's too much
to water to try and save. Every few weeks we get 2/10s of an inch or less
of rain which doesn't even wet the ground. And it's just the start of our
dry season; Sept and Oct.... the fall months. I've never seen anything like
this in my entire life.
