Sacha, as you know I can't tell a swallow from an Amazon. I did
notice what I thought was a lovely swoopy bird last night, it was a
bat!

Here's my Pollyanna moment - tah dah! - you learned not to be frightened of
bats?!! Of course you did - do not disappoint me!
We spent a happy 30 minutes sitting in the garden on Saturday, under the
cedar tree with 3 excited little girls watching the bats feasting on flying
perils. Their interest and absorption was wonderful to see.
Bring on the bats! I wouldn't have the itchy bits on my feet and legs if I
had pet bats.
