Good morning,

I was going to buy some Cypress mulch and put it in my beds. The bags

Thanks in advance

Good day RUKind. If your beds are more than 90 square feet, I would
suggest that you go to a nursey and buy multch in bulk. It will be much
cheaper for you.

A cubic yard is a 3footx3footx3foot cube with the volume of 36 square
feet. That will spread and cover an area of 108 square feet at three
inches deep. When your estimating your beds, try to add in your plant
space useage. 10 plants x an average of 3 square feet of useage per plant
= 30 square feet that you'll need to subtract from your first bed total.

As far as multch in a bag, 9 bags would make a 1/4 yard of multch that
would cover 25 square feet or so.

Hope that helps......
