convenient for the wild birds and feed them that way, fat balls are useful

Incidentally "OT" Red Hot Poker is a wonderful bird food plant for
spring, Good to see birds hanging from the flowers feeding.

I knew the flowers were a good source of food for butterflies but did not
know the plant also fed moths...........one learns new things every day.
