One thing I remember someone talking about,
once upon a time, is a leaf solution that involved
building a structure with a pitched roof - much
easier to get the leaves as they raked them
gently off the pitched sides.
I LOVE trees and have way too many on our
property. I hold secret grudges against neighbors
that cut them down (grumble, grumble, snarl!!!)
