Default Leaf spot on strawberry plants - should I destroy th lot?

It is a similar thing with Hellebores. The old leaves often get leaf
spot, and it is usual to cut off all the old leaves at the end of the
year, so that the flowers, followed by new leaves, can come up
unimpeded.


I hope so. Is it true that spraying leaves with comfrey tea keeps
fungal infections at bay?
