Default Green Light Bulbs

Im looking for any info on green light bulbs used in germination of seeds

in
the dark. Anyone have any help on this topic?

Don't bother with them.
Once the seeds have germinated, if you want to get them up using artificial
light, use a "cool white" fluroescent tube.
The shorter ones (1.5 to 2ft) are best for reason they are small. Think they
are around the 4 or 6 watt mark (maybe more).
My father has a cutting/seed raising box at his house he made out of marine
ply. Be about 4foot long, by 2.5 foot high, by 2foot wide. In this he runs 2
cool white tubes for cuttings and seeds. He has it running 24hrs a day, at
very little cost. The cool white tubes contain the correct light to keep
them growing quite well, 'till they are ready to harden off and put out.
He uses a heat mat in winter, and in summer if he thinks it necessary.
Another good thing about it, is the fact that cool white tube won't burn the
seedlings or cuttings unless tube is almost touching them. For added effect
he lined the box with white plastic for reflectivity. None of his camellia
or native cuttings look back.
Hmmm, just thinking, an old fish tank with a light works just as well too.
They use the same type of cool white bulb. Only thing, is you may want to
cover the glass with something if it's in your house, to stop annoying light
at night :-)

Good luck
