Default iced over pond

It is cheaper to wait and let it work as long as it will.

We've gotten really cold, so I don't think I could talk anyone into
changing out the wired sensor at this time. Last night the pond was 35F
when I turned the heater on. There is a light 1/2-1" coating of snow on the
screens. This morning, air temp is 20F, pond temp is 39F, so I know the
pond heater is working.

Good thing my mom gave us the money for Xmas to replace old water heater &
freezer so we're saving power there to go into the ponds. ;-) ~ jan
