Default taming a pumpkin plant

If you are happy with the number of fruit on the vines then pinch off the
growing end. Me I'm letting the beasts go as we have 1 acre and quite a bit
is not arable. As a side note the variety I have in at the moment is
Bohemian and it is very prolific, large fruit and plenty of them. 3 plants
and about 25+ fruit of a size and still putting out female flowers by the
score. May end up giving a lot away (local shopkeeper will be upset) but the
missus is checking out all the things pumpkin can be used/made into.

Hi all,

I've planted pumpkins and spaghetti squash in a reasonably large bed,
however I want to make sure that they stay within the boundaries of
this bed. I have seen pumpkins and squash go mad and take over a back
yard.

How do I `train' them to stay in this area? Is it safe to snip off
bits that are starting to stray?
