Default 19th World Orchid Conference

The grand champion
Exhibited by Krull-Smith of Apopka, the superbly grown Paphiopedilum Michael
Koopowitz is a cross between Paph. philippinense and Paph. sanderianum. The
plant is three feet tall and four feet wide, with petals extending 2 ½ feet.
Frank Smith, the company owner, said the plant is not for sale, but he
estimated its value at $25,000.
