But the ones I would recommend as being well written, simple, easily
followed, universally applicable and relatively cheap second hand are those
by Anne Field. She has written the "Ashford book of Spinning" and the
"Ashford book of Weaving" - you can see reader's reviews here, but buy on
ebay or at ABE books which list a lot of them second hand.
