any ideas? thanks
It is doing what every flowering plant yearns to do -- it is flowering.
Broccoli, cauliflower, and the like are known as cool-season crops and the
plants are likely to see warm longer days as their cue to pop their buds
and set some seed to produce the next generation. When this seems likely to
happen it is _your_ cue to start harvesting like mad and to find something
to do with the bumper crop. I always started to worry when the heads seemed
to start loosening up.
